Employees Perception towards Job Security during COVID-19 Pandemic: A Case Study among Private Sector Employees in Sri Lanka

The COVID-19 pandemic has caused unusual conflicts all over the world in every industry. Containment measures, which are being adapted to reduce spread of virus, have threatened general perception employees’ job security. This study is aimed at evaluating security among private-sector employees Sri Lanka during pandemic, Lanka, faced several strict containment measures such as lockdowns and travel restrictions. Based on objective, an online questionnaire was circulated respondents via email social media. Snowballing sampling used technique, finally, 100 responses were collected. Three assess perceptions: threats overall job, features, powerlessness. collected data analysed descriptively statistically. Kruskal-Wallis test evaluate impact socio-demographic characteristics perceived before pandemic.
